Favorite Moment with Russell: One of my favorite moments happened right after we became engaged.  One of our Christmas presents was a private cooking class and meal to go along with it.  It was amazing food and it gave me and Russell to spend some time alone and celebrate our engagement!

Background: I grew up in the small Texas town just south of San Antonio named Falls City, Texas.  My family has lived there for generations.  My family means everything to me.  I have two younger sisters.  Kim (who is also my Maid of Honor) is 20 and currently a student at Texas State.  My youngest sister Ashley (a bridesmaid) is a high school senior.  My parents also come from great big families.  Needless to say, there is never a dull moment as I was growing up.
I grew up as any small-town girl would.  Helping my dad around our land, fishing on lazy Sundays, learning to 2-step before I was even out of elementary school and attending every local football game I could.
In high school I was very involved with a lot of different clubs and organizations, but primarily cheerleading.  I met lots of great people that I still stay in touch with today.  High school soon passed and I found my way to college.  I had always noticed Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on my visits to the coast with my family.  After hearing good things from some of my older cousins, I enrolled there in the Fall of 2006.
After recently graduating from TAMUCC, I recently took a job as a Registered Nurse at Driscoll's Children Hospital.

Career: Admissions Counselor/Recruiter at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Art Director of the Corpus Christi IceRays Hockey Club.

Favorite Moment with Kelsey: Me and Kelsey have been lucky enough to do lots of fun things during our time together and many great memories, but one of my favorites was an evening we spent together at Disneyland eating caramel apples and watching the fireworks shoot up over Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Background: My childhood included a few more backdrops than Kelsey.  My parents are native-Texans, but soon after they were married were sent to Montana on military orders.  We lived there until I was around 4 and then we were off to Cheyenne, Wyoming.  This is where we spent my elementary school years until my family and I moved back to Texas once my Dad retired from the Air Force in 1998.
Like Kelsey I stayed very busy during junior high and high school.  I tried nearly every sport, plus stayed involved band, UIL academics, Student Council, theater and held a job a local pharmacy/soda fountain.  Ironically Kelsey and I's schools were big rivals during this time and our paths crossed several times without us even knowing.
After I graduated in 2004, I made my way to TAMUCC and studied Communication and Public Relations while also volunteering some of my free-time as a campus tour guide.  Once I graduated from college in 2008, I stayed at the University as a recruiter and am still there today.  I also do a lot of different graphic design projects on the side.
